Deep Isolation is committed to working with all interested parties to better understand what values and principles are most important to them with regard to the disposition of nuclear waste. We believe having such a dialogue is an important first step to ensure these principles are honored and that we can build a trusting relationship. We believe in and strive for a process of informed consent in which communities will be able to engage at every step of the storage/disposal process. We have witnessed the failure of multiple programs because of the inability to achieve trust and confidence first and then build upon the exchange of information and ideas that can lead to a trusted partnership.
