How do you manage seismic events?

Seismic events are managed starting with site selection and are considered throughout the entire design of a Deep Isolation repository. We attempt to mitigate the consequences of seismic events by locating the waste at a great depth in a low permeability hydrological environment. The disruptive scenario is one example of the modeling efforts that Deep Isolation has taken to further understand the risks of a very large (and very low probability) fault rupture event.
