Deep Isolation enhances its intellectual property licensing program

Berkeley, CA – Deep Isolation announced today an enhanced plan to offer additional license partnership options of its intellectual property for deep borehole disposal of nuclear waste.

The goal is to provide prospective commercial and government partners with flexible licensing options to make the Deep Isolation solution more accessible for global waste disposal programs. Via a range of licensing models, Deep Isolation will offer training and support and supply chain services for its planning and operational processes and solution technology.

It continues to invest in developing its IP and underpinning this with delivery and supply chain capabilities in partnership with industry leaders. Its flexible licensing model will help meet client demand in an agile way as the market moves from feasibility assessments toward full implementation of Deep Isolation’s technology.

Deep Isolation’s advanced nuclear technology forms the basis of its IP, with patents secured or in progress for: geology formation suitability, repository and canister design, deep borehole safety monitoring and spent fuel canister handling, emplacement and retrieval.
